I want to finally send this email to express my gratitude for all the assistance received from Ms. BerNardette Harvey through the process of selling my home and also for her well received advice and assistance when purchasing my new home. She was great in providing her professional assistance when we were selling our home.
Not only did she kindly address all of my concerns; she provided sufficient responses to all of my concerns. She was also great in providing advice when we were buying our new house even though she was not the realtor for the purchase of our new home.
Ms. Harvey is a great asset to the real estate community and I would recommend as well as use her again anytime.
Much thanks to Ms. Harvey.

I highly recommend BerNardette Harvey as your realtor. I want to share the tireless efforts BerNardette has invested in me and my family.
I met BerNardette after the home loan approval process. She pinpointed the area I was interested in residing and she also shared other areas of interest. My family (my grandmother, mother and two small daughters) and I were then living in a 3 bedroom apartment. My lease wasn’t up and my apartment complex was adamant about me keeping the terms of the lease. BerNardette knew I could terminate the lease if I was purchasing a home. BerNardette became so involved that she contacted the corporate office of the management company, had me to write them a letter and I received approval to terminate the contract as a result.
After a couple of weeks of looking at properties, BerNardette arranged for me to meet with the manager of this new development in Lancaster. We met and she showed me a few new homes, I made my decision and the deal was closed.
Well, the rest is history and one would think that was the end of BerNardette. Not so. After a week in our brand new home, the garage door’s rollers came off the track and the door was leaning down on one side a few inches from the top of my car. I was assured this repair was covered under the new home contract. When the repairman arrived, he told me I had to pay out of pocket and the builder would reimburse me. I did that.
But my mom called BerNardette and told her what had happened and BerNardette went into action. She contacted the builder’s local office and spoke with one of managers. He refused to reimburse me and told BerNardette some “untruths”, but BerNardette was relentless and proved him wrong. She was so persistent, that within a few days, I received the reimbursement check. Praise God for BerNardette! She assured me if I should have any more problems with the home, to call her and she would handle it – and I believe her.
BerNardette has proven over and over and over and over and over again, to have us “at heart”. She shared with me that she wasn’t going away just because she had closed on the home. She has advised me on cleaning up my credit. She was aware my mother and grandmother were both in the hospital at the same time, two months after moving in the house. She stayed in touch with me, encouraging me, making me laugh one minute and the next minute making me want to “shout”. She called my mom while she was hospitalized and did the same with her.
In October, my grandmother died of kidney failure and BerNardette was right there with words of comfort and she stopped by and placed a sympathy card in the mail box for my mom. My mother adores BerNardette and thinks she can fix anything. My mom wants to call BerNardette anytime something goes wrong.
BerNardette has gone the “extra mile” for us and then some. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for what she has done for us. Exceptional, extraordinary, exemplary – BerNardette is one of a kind. In life, it’s a blessing to cross paths with someone like BerNardette Harvey. A successful, professional woman that values “customer satisfaction” above the “dollars”.
Thank you, BerNardette!

I would like to thank BerNardette Harvey, for all of her hard work in the process of me and my husband buying our first home.
We tried to purchase a home last year (2004) and it was the worst thing that I have ever experienced before in my life. We had to jump through so many hoops, always being told that it was not good enough. Our loan officer told us that we needed to get our credit scores up a little higher, not to say they were already past the 600s. Many times, I had to leave my job early to take over paperwork that could not be faxed or mailed.
After going on and on with this for 5 months, we decided to withdraw our contract and move into an apartment. One year later we decided to try this again. My cousin had just purchased his first home and found out that I was in the process of getting started myself. So he gave me the number to the loan officer that helped him get started.
On April 6, 2005, I called the loan officer and she pulled my credit, and told me that my credit scores were good, so let’s get started. Everything happened so fast I could not believe it. So she gave me the name of a realtor that would help me find a house in the location that we were looking in.
We wanted to stay in the Cedar Hill area, so the next day April 7, 2005, I had a list of homes e-mailed to me. I could not believe this lady was on top of things already! I emailed her the houses that I wanted and she meant us at the location of the first home the next day. We told her that we loved what we saw. She faxed over the contract to me on Monday April 11, 2005, and we submitted it to the seller the same day.
Now, we were looking at pre-owned homes, because of the area we wanted to stay in. Well, we tried the Cedar Hill area location three times, and nothing happened with our offers. Now it was the first of May. We were still looking in the Cedar Hill area.
May 16th rolled around, and BerNardette came to me and asked if we would consider a new area, and we said okay to her ideals. We were not even looking into buying a new home, but we decided to try a brand new home. Well, BerNardette knew of some builders that may have some homes ready to buy in Lancaster. We located one, I signed my contract on May 23, 2005, and we closed on May 31, 2005. Only 8 days to close!
If only we had gone this direction the first time we would have closed on April 14, 2005 (only 8 days). Again, thanks to the Harvey Team (of BMarie Realty) for the hard work. Thanks to them, we are PROUD FIRST TIME HOME OWNERS!

I want to thank you for your work in getting my house rented. It was empty nearly six months , but once you got involved, it was rented in a couple of weeks. You are truly a pro at what you do and I intend to recommend you to anyone I know in need of a realtor! I will definitely use you for all of my real estate dealings in the future.
Thanks so much for ending my stress,
Stan D. Walton
